Our furniture is built with the same handmade quality and care as in the days when our grandparents were young. We choose among the best kiln dried oak and cherry lumber to begin each piece. Wood grain and colour matching is carefully done to assure a smooth even look, while preserving the uniqueness of the natural wood. The legs are turned from a single block of seasoned hardwood. The framing on each table is also solid hardwood and most of the original thickness is kept to assure strength and rigidity. We use traditional joinery; tongue and groove, and mortise and tenon, for our table frames and dovetailing for our drawer assembly. The finish we apply is a European formula and is considered the best in the industry. Each coat is hand rubbed to ensure a very smooth satin finish which highlights the natural beauty of the wood.
